About Me
Often, our challenges become our greatest teachers. For me, it was teen pregnancy that launched me into motherhood, marital discord that led to deep self-reflection, religious disillusionment that opened the door to spiritual freedom, and an inoperable tumor that forced me to slow down and listen deeply.
Like many people, I once prioritized the needs of others above my own. Between raising children, attending college, and working as an obstetric nurse, self-care fell off my radar. But in 2014, discovering a tumor in my back became a turning point. I realized that to truly be there for others long-term, I needed to take care of myself. That awakening sparked transformation in many areas of my life. I began to question old patterns and beliefs, seeking out both conventional and alternative healing practices. Through trial, error, and persistence, I discovered that integrative health—a combination of lifestyle, mindset, relationships, and various healing modalities—was the key to my own healing and growth.
As both a nurse and a patient, I saw the gaps in our healthcare system and the need for care that addresses the whole person. This inspired me to deepen my training through Duke University’s Integrative Health Coaching Program and launch Align Integrative Health. As a nurse health coach, I support clients in cultivating a lifestyle that aligns with their personal vision and values. We address nutrition, movement, relationships, family systems, spiritual clarity, purpose, sleep, physical environment, and stress management. I believe in the power of love over fear, in listening to the body’s wisdom, and in reclaiming our innate capacity to heal.
I partner with individuals who want to go deeper than symptom management and build empowering habits that support a long healthspan. We work together to uncover root causes of disease, implement sustainable change, and build strong foundations for lasting health. Wherever you are on your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you—to empower, support, and help you create the health and life you desire.
